First: NEVER GO ON A DIET! Diets are not the way to lose weight naturally. In the long-term diets will not keep you skinny, diets will make you fat. Diets destroy your metabolism and you will struggle with your weight for the rest of your life.
Second: The best way to lose weight is to learn how to eat properly. You need to follow a good Healthy Eating Program. And if you are smart, you will start including some fat burning exercises in with your Healthy Eating Program. If you do these two things, you can “Turn On” your metabolism on “HIGH” and become a fat burning machine.
Third: Throw away the soft drinks and store bought fruit juices and drink lots of water, PERIOD!
Fourth: Get excited, because this new lifestyle change will do just that, change your life. Changing your lifestyle is the very best way to lose weight fast and to keep it off, FOREVER!
Fifth: Don’t look back, keep looking forward: A lifestyle change is for a lifetime, not a three week quick weight loss diet that will destroy your metabolism. I changed my lifestyle almost 40 years ago and now at 60 years old, I am the better for it. You will be the better for it too!
Sixth: Never Quit Doing Steps 1-5.
Seven: Once you lose all of your excess weight, then have a treat once in a while. This is real life and there is no way you can keep from having ice cream or cake at birthday parties, or going out for pizza with friends. Sure you can still enjoy these foods, you just need to turn these foods into treats, not daily staples.
